Fun Ways to Raise Readers

This year Little Read Wagon will offer "Fun Ways to Raise Readers," a series of eight workshops for parents and informal caregivers. The first workshop, "Big Dreams: Getting Kids Ready for Bed and Ready to Read," will be October 1, 6:30-7:45pm at the Johnston Branch Library.

We’ll share ideas with each other and you’ll make a simple learning tool to take home and use with your child. Child care will not be provided. Please register at least three days in advance of each workshop: http://bit.ly/saplfwrr or call (210)207-2531.

Each workshop is based on Every Child Ready to Read, a national early literacy project of the Association for Library Service to Children and the Public Library Association.
