One more visit to Millers Pond

Tomorrow at 9:30 will be our last Play & Learn of 2015! If you haven't had a chance to join us under the pavilion at Millers Pond, here are a few reasons you might want to make the trip:

  1. Sunny and cool weather in the forecast. Wearing a light jacket or sweater would be wise.
  2. Ducks! When you and your child aren't busy with the play dough, blocks or other activities, the ducks provide plenty of opportunities for observation. But, please, don't feed them. This article from Audubon explains why.
  3. Fun early literacy interactions: We'll have books and activities as usual for you and your child to enjoy together while building pre-reading skills. Plus, you might make some new friends.

If you aren't able to go to Millers Pond tomorrow, please consider joining us at the Woodlawn Community Room, adjacent to Woodlawn Gym, beginning January 21, 2016.
